Travis Brorsen is one of the most sought-after dog trainers in America today. With almost two decades of experience, he has become an animal planet pet expert, trainer, author, public speaker and tv host.

In 2008 he won CBS’ national dog training competition, The Greatest American Dog, along with $250,000, the most ever by a dog and human team! Travis is currently a consulting producer and celebrity expert judge on the Discovery+ series, The Dog Games! He hosts his own show on Animal Planet and has been featured in the New York Times, The New York Post and People Magazine. He has been a guest expert on the Tamron Hall Show, Rachael Ray, and Fox and Friends.

“I found my way into training after doing everything wrong with my boxer, Presley”, Travis said. “Then I realized training is supposed to be fun and rewarding for both of us. That’s when I knew I could help other pet parents do it right from the beginning.”

As a result of his experience on The Greatest American Dog, Travis discovered he had a passion to build and strengthen relationships between dogs and their owners using positive learning techniques.  The goal was to package what he learned throughout his career and share it with owners using a fun and positive approach to training.  He is a huge advocate for positive reinforcement training methods that build bonds based on love, trust and mutual respect and has incorporated them into his training programs. Travis has built a highly successful dog training business operating in Los Angeles, New York City and his hometown of Edmond, Oklahoma.  In 2019, Travis teamed up with Puppy Paws Hotel & Spa to launch the Puppy Paws Academy.  The success of this partnership led to the desire to create dog training solutions that could be easily implemented in dog facilities across the country.

Travis resides in Oklahoma with his wife Heather, son Bleu, rescue dogs Chip and Pete and a cat named Miss Kitty.  He still travels frequently for work, has launched his own line of dog treats appropriately named Greatest American Dog Treats as well as Zen Buddy, a line of dog CBD products.
